Art auction for a good cause
Dear friends~ please help support this worthy cause by making a bid on my art donation entitled Mermaid with Coral Creatures and or bid on one of many amazing works showcased in the auction. “The Picture Book Project Foundation presents Art Blocks for Ghana – a charity art auction of original works created by top artists within the animation and illustration community to provide boarding and education for orphaned children in Ghana, West Africa.” Online art auction is live March 12-20. The Picture Book Project Foundation will be donating part of the proceeds from Art Blocks auction and events to help in the awareness and support Dice Tsutsumi’s Efforts and Give2Asia.

A few days after finishing my Ghosts & Spirits Tarot project (more information to come), the catastrophic events in Japan started unfolding. It has been hard to focus on much these days—as the devastation taking place on the other side of the world has become part of daily consciousness. I have good friends who have friends and family in Japan—though thankfully their loved ones are all fine. But still, the sufferings from across the planet are reverberating around the world, giving everyone pause and reminding us how truly fragile we all are. My heart goes out to the people of Japan.

Lisa, you’re so right. It is a frenzied time in our world. Thank you for sharing your feelings, for me right now, tears and watercolor makes a mean mix! I add my light to yours as we hold our friends in Japan in the light.
